the Reynolds are walking for Foster Care

As you may know, Scott grew up in a family that took in
many, many foster children throughout his childhood.
Scott, his parents and siblings have pretty much seen
it all when it comes to foster care.
Over 800,000 children in America today are in foster care,
of which 24,000 are right here in our own back yard -
Los Angeles.

This breaks my heart! These children are the victims of
repeated abuse and neglect and often times languish
in the systemfor their entire childhood only to be rejected
from the system and lose most of the benefits that they rely
on for support. As a result each year over 14,000 youth in
foster care become homeless within two months of their
18th birthday.

Thank God for Scott's parents and others like them that have
provided a refuge for so many children over the years.
As a result of the Reynolds family, there were several children
who, for the first time in their life, experienced what a
true family can be.

Scott, Zane, Audrey and I will be walking the
iCare 5K Walk For Foster Care at the
Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California
this Saturday, July 26th,

Scott and I are asking you as a friend to join
us in this mission to help improve
the lives of the over 800,000 children in foster care.
