Sunset Junction - The Puppet Edition

Sunset Junction was in full force today. Amy had to handle a birthday party for a friend, so I bravely went forth and took the train in the hopes of catching a few bands, playing a few games and hoping that Zane doesn't want to play Spin The STD. But that's another story... So while the kids weren't too impressed with much of anything beyond trying to win a turtle or funnel cake, they were ASTOUNDED by this amazing guy doing puppetry in front of a pickup truck.

As they little puppet shook and tried to stand, looking tired out beyond belief, Zane and Audz completely fell for this little guy. Zane was almost in tears, watching the struggle of the tattered puppet. Maybe it was walking around in the hot sun for 5 hours, maybe it was the magic of this guy, maybe it was just the fact that nearly everyone there is trying to break into the business, pushing against the wall - but somehow, some way, this little puppet hanging from strings managed to pull massive amounts of empathy from everyone watching.

Hooray for the puppet.
